I think the main problem is 90% of shadowblades have buffbots - not something AS common (at the moment. probably not for long though) for infils.

Also the way they pack up - like flies after fresh crap. Admittedly infils are doing it more now, but for a while the SBs were the master of teh stealth zerg!

Kinda like when a FG+ of hibs jumped me and Jayelle in BG - she was stealthed, I was looking the other way. They steamrollered me (there's only so much a paladin can do) and then spent about an hour searching for jayelle after she 1-shotted the caster who actually killed me, who was stupid enough to sit down on my corpse!

The problem is the huge amount of buffed shadowblades. On average if there are two full groups of mids there will be about six sbs.

Albs dont know how many infils there are out there All of them buff up and then stealth at tk, goes /anon. Then have party in emain without anyone knowing except the mids

The number of lvl 50 SB is much higher (allmost 50% higher) than the lvl 50 infs out there, which might explain the complaining. All players that venture out solo need a buffbot nowadays. With my buffed scout I still cannot slam a SB.
Not sure who started the trend, just know it will not end. Mythic does not seem to bothered (and they do not have to really, as buffed vs buffed kind of removes the advantage) and they do not want to see their income decrease.

hmmz i used to be able to slam buffed sbs easily only prob was that after i slamed em i would fumble

..

the only reason ppl complain about buffed sbs is because they need something to complain about. its like ppl complaining about buffbot useage as they can't afford one or cba to get 1. lol and ppl saying that infis don't zerg pfft they do

today i was in an infil zerg camping mtk in emain, we only decided to do it to get back at the mids for camping our tk.. and NONE us had a buffbot, thats right NONE where as salurm<spelling> did, Mele did, Find did and god knows how many others, we watched the buffs fall off as they succombed - but the fact remains that 1 v 1 all of us infil's would have lost to the sb's simply due to the fact that they are buffed and we arn't

Main problem with buffed SBs is that damn doublefrost

It hits fecking hard

And don't lie sama, you know how many times you've owned me with that fecking style

But that prob gets nerfed soon.. sooo.. only thing that buffbots do for sbs atm is increase their evade by about 9% (bringing them to an over all average of about 70% evade), give them 500 or so hp, make their armor hard as studded, make them hit fecking hard, make them hit fecking fast, and... er.. well.. that's all really, so not much as you can see.. <cough>

ofc, infils do it too, so I think we should all have one big nerf party and destory buffbots, both sides will be happy (well, cept for the fact that they're no longer ub3r 1337, but you'll get over it)

Yesterday I met an unbuffed sb who jumped me, and I handed him his ass. Was a fantastic fight and at the end I was down to 5%. If only more sbs were unbuffed I truly think it would make the game more enjoyable for the sbs and their victims -

The shadowblades actually get a challenge
The victims get a chance to fight back

I pop TS in the first bend in the road from apk to amg, and I see 2 norseman, 1 kobold SB's standing there. As soon as I take my bow out one destealthes and runs away (loser), I hit the 2nd norseman, and he runs away also. Salmonella just runs straight at me, and after 3 arrows is down only 20% in hp. Each slam then follows to miss while she ganks me in 3 hits.
I think that sums up what is wrong with SB's. Even if I get the drop on them, I cannot kill them.
Salmonella claims skills, but does not have much, all be it a bit more than those 2 norseman sb that ran away from a scout and a minstrel...
SB's are insanely overpowered.

Non buffed SB's are as dangerous then a lvl 5 mage....
They go down in 5 hits and dont hit u...

That's my point exactly.

Either stealthers are afraid of plate (god knows why, it's just a fashion!) or it's too shiny and they're afraid their reflection in the breastplate will give their location away....
