What is it with people in Midgard ?

Ok I got a level 31 runemaster and a level 31 hunter.
I have spent hours at a time looking for a group, and yet there is never any room in them even if the group flags are up.

Whats worst is when I ask someone in a tell or in general chat and get ignored completly by the whole group I am addressing. This pisses me off more than someone telling me to "bugger off". At least if they did that I would know where I stood.

This in itself is getting tiresome and I am seriously thinking about leaving the game and going back to everquest where I still have a necromancer, at least there I know for a fact that no one wants a necro in the group so I don't waste time looking for one.

Always thought of us as a realm all in it together, but by the looks of it all midgard wants is tanks and healers, the other classes are just a burden on the realm. Or that is the view I am getting with the present people on Midgard Excal.

With your Runey you will find getting a group alot easier 30 onwards, maybe not so much with your Hunter but don't get disheartened as I and alot of others have experienced the same problem. Being in a Guild that has members the same level as you helps too.

What you need to do is get a bind in Huginfel or Galplen and get yourself to Spindelhalla. This is the best place for your lvl and Runeys are always welcome especially in Scavs/MS/Trow groups, and there are nice drops here too.

too true m8, just say 'lvl ?? runie with pbt! LFG' and your in one , dont know much about hunters but i know its harder for them as they dont have much to offer a group, but if you can stick it out your hunter will give you alot of fun in RvR

I never truly specced supp till level 20 so i am lacking behind slightly in it. But I have the first group castable one at level 16 supp. Just need to get into groups to gain levels at the same rate as my tank friends so I dont get left behind. I am level 31 now and by level 36 - 37 i hope to have the spell. If I got to solo it all the way to then I will go out of my mind. But I can do more damage per round than a tank at the same level as me so the mobs go down quicker.
Thing is though you try telling a tank that and when they stop laughing at you they still say no.

Why not get your tank-friends to help you then, if you can't find a "random group".

Pulse fend = instant group

I rather have a runie with Runic Shield rather then Runic guard ( 10sec pulse )...
and Pulse Fend in RvR are annoying and useless most of the time, Its great if you stick together, but as soon as you get a little splitted your fend are gone.

I really hope that ppl can make their chars the way THEY want them not the way others think they should be...

If you want Pulse Fend go fullspec Supp ( 6s pulse fend )

Were not telling anyone todo anything, were just saying what we think, and its a fact that pbt will get you in a group alot quicker Runic Shield is ok but uses more pow and if your standing there casting a bubble you cant do anything which would get abit boring. As for its usefulness in RvR then i agree most of the times your group is apart so it isnt that good, but now and then your get in a group where everyone sticks to one person so your always together. Also its very good for keep raids to protect your group against archers and guards etc. As for pbt being annoying, well cant see how accept to the archers who keep wondering why they are missing you

My end spec will be 47dark, 26sup, that way i get a pbt and the 45% nearsight and the most powerful nuke

Thats just me though, do whatever you think will suit your type of play best

sometimes it will still say you are looking for members, even when the group is full, or otherwise
