what is bg 1 like on pyrd?

hello all u pyrd bgers just wanted to ask what its like bg 1 wise ere etc many albs and mids?

When Albs have CK, Albs zerg and camp MPK.

Whan Mids have CK, Mids zerg and camp APK.

Hibs never have CK, never zerg and nobody camps HPK.

depends on..if you want to play alb, do /who thid...If it shows more than 25 people, dont bother comming cause it means albs are zerging mids/mpk etc...If it shows people around 10-20 at prime time, it means that albs are dying at mids...So worth to have a go then...

After tonight, I'd even go as far as to say that BG1 is total shite.

Zerging, PK camping, stealthers hunting in packs. Pointless waste of time really, unless you're after MCL or some other cheap RAs to help you level.

Bg is shyte on Pryd...just need those rps for mcl etc. there is no real point to it otherwise... none seem to make an effort to make grps and roam it's just "bridge-defending" "Keepdefending" etc.

Usually is a bit zergy however I had a superb time this afternoon in a group with my ickle Reaver.

Was in a great group with people who knew what they were doing and we eventually managed to take the keep despite a great effort from the Mid defenders.

Whether it's an afternoon thing or not I don't know but I haven't enjoyed RvR/Thid so much in quite a while

whenever i play thid atm i avoid prime time tbh, do a /who thid and see 25 mids and think gah bet they are camping apk again.... go there, 10 bots standing at mpk, 5 BD's and 5 others and 5 solo stealthers, with 2-3 fg albs at mb

get some really nice fights during the afternoon though

actually i've been there for the last few nights and had some great fun.(okay i'm an alb but was still fun).
seen some great hibs attacks and nice to see some seige weapons in action.
likewise last night was much more mid action and yes some mpk movement went on it wasn't camping with mids really pushing and actually getting a ram up to the doors at one point.
(little bit more org would have helped them though as 2 at a time ain't gonna take a keep).

to be fair it can be dire with lack of groups and keep campers galore.
with regards to stealther groups you do see them but usually groups of 2 or 3 and can make some interesting mini battles.

Had a good afternoon in thid. Logged in to find mids trying to take ck.
Ended up by the time they got to lord with 8-9 albs. Good final stand, managed to wipe the middies on their 1st attempt. But were defeated by lack of numbers on the 2nd mid charge.
Good battle, facing onagers/rams etc. Enjoyed it immensly.
My poor ice wizzie (Hypothermia) got horrendously ganked in the end.

I think thid is best in the afternoons before the school's empty out tbh.

last night? visit short there (22.00cet+) after work and notice mids was running nicely around making havoc, and not so big numbers comparing albs.
i guess ~20 visible alb, mids little over 10 + st.
sadly never did /who thidraki.

ok fights, one good smile when inf follow me on water between ck and apk, need only stick and PA Xoron or something name? dont remember excact.

still near 100rp to go whit Ilmarinen to cap.
i guess use later this gear for new sb, but need short break and play other classes, have thane and warrior whit crap suits.

Heh that was because your "poor ice wizzie" was responsible for most of the deaths of the midgard race on the first charge

Well i love thid with my 24 stealth/cs/8 envenom sb. But there are too many reavers there with insta dot's. And seems more infils spec stealth higher than they did 3 months ago. Then i could pa them without being seen, now they spot me to early so i have to run around and try to loose them. But still do decent damage. Thrust fils are the best targets of enemy stealthers.

Well I personally luv bg1, re-rolled several chars after capping at 350RP's.

I think its total mayhem and good fun, a welcome break from 'big' RvR so long as you don't take it seriously. Gives you a chance to test out different chars/specs too.

Pity Hib don't take part but with /level to 30 I guess there's even less likelihood they will join in the fun - if they did my guess is they would rock!

(Mite/Star/Viking/Florrie bg1 chars).

Yep, Thidranki on Prydwen is great fun - some people don't understand that if you don't want to camp mpk, then don't - they don't realise that what they want is in their own power to do, but rather expect others to be doing something they want.

But anyway, everytime I log on to Thid I'm having a great time there, just rolled a 20 sorcerer there today, and soloed a red dwarf (warrior I think) - was lots of fun, then managed to escape from a half fg of mids.
And if you're bored don't get to level 24, being level 20 in Thid is more of a challenge (how to stay alive ^^ without getting stealthed).

I also have an overpowered inf there, with a full sc set - so he kinda well, is too good.
