What is all this about "pie"

Hmm....I've noticed that there's many ppl talking about "pie" from time to time....
Is that a local joke or what is it?
I'm kinda curious 'cause I have no idea

I know that I will get many posts like:
"PIE!"
and so on....but I hope that someone mature enough to give me a good explonation, will do it...
