What is a good druid spec?

I need some help with a nice solid druid spec mainly for rvr but good for pve too,decent buffs and nice heals of 500+ or so.Can anyone help me out please?also explain why you say the spec you have chosen?

it's a few deacent specs.

for best str/con, good resists and deacent heals:

44nur 31 reg

for exelent heal, 100% res and 2nd best str/con:

41reg 35 nur


I think it was that at least, don't remember 100% tho

Personnaly I think the following spec is one of the best for RvR:

30 Nuture
40 Regrowth
20 Nature

Gives very good spread heal along with full rez. Small grey con pet which is still capable of killing wizards and distracting tanks away from kicking your ass. Plus you get reasonable buffs and all resists.

Plus it uses up the most points so you only have 2 points remaining at the end.

Pet is still important for a druid. It's nearly always enough to get a tank/caster/stealther off you if you are being attacked by one person during a battle. Plus you get a basic dot which is good for farming RP's in the middle of large battle when theres not much healing to do.

While gaining levels and XP'ing its best not spend any in nature.... put nearly all your spec points in regrowth... with enough in nuture to get you every buff up to basic level i.e. about 19.

personlly. i prefer the allrounder. having 25 in nurture 31 in regrowth and 36 in nature

reasons.

36 nature. U get insta AOEROOT VERY effective RVR. and wanted.!

31 Regroth coz u get battery heal !!! also really good for RVR and u get the a good heal shout.

25 nurture because it gives u high lvl str buff.
IMO in light of SC. Buffs are a nice add. just having the medium buffs will do fine.

also that spec is easily the most fun!.

to spec that line id go at lvl 11 go full nurture. then from there on start spreading the spec lines start with regrowth will at least 7 to get cure dis for parthfarm. IMO u want your pet in bg1 . hes very annoying

May i just say that i cant really recommend the 44 nurt 31 reg spec for a group druid, since you cant buff more than 12 spec buffs unless you use blue dex/qui and yellow str/con which just means that the only thing you gain is the resists, in which case better healing will be more needed.

Im personally 44 nurt 31 reg and like it, but thats because it doubles as a buffbot for my ranger

In reality ANY druid spec can be viable, especially if the player likes that style and can play it well.

Try messing around with the spec calculators

Well I tried regrowth druid. They suck. Die all the time. No protection etc...

Playing a buffbot never even entered my mind....

Then I respecced back to 19nurture, 35regrowth, 36nature. I love it

If you die all the time cus of no protection its realy not your class fault but the ppl in the group that should protect you aint it? This is a group game aint it?

as druid in fight...HIDE...behind a tree, in a pbaoe or something like that and spam spread heals. Secret of a good druid is not getting spotted. And take the ang spec and consentrate on healing instead of rooting imo root druid can be good too but then should have 2 druids.

U wont get any use of the root anyway cos I would personally kill u if u root ppl when I'm tyring to mess. 41 reg nice heal uber ress etc 35 nuture nice buffs imo & with all these buff bots arounf dont think u need nuture at all

Well tbh maybe 35/41 is =the= best spec, but IG groups are often less than perfect.. sometimes no bard, no warden ( often ), very tank heavy and even have more then one druid. We had 3 druids in the other day for example. We just tend to go with the first 8 ppl that say 'yes'
