Say the excal alb population was mostly from australia :D

and we go to raid a relic at our prime time which would be at like 4-6am cet or gmt or whatever...

Would hibs have complained about the time? Saying we are lame because we attack them when they're sleeping etc etc?

Would it be unfair on the hibs?

Or unfair on the albs who are playing on the other side of the world?

Think of it...

/em gets ready to be flamed ;)

Australia has its own version of Camelot and its up to date with the US servers. So why would they want to come and play on the Euro servers that are lagging behind in patches ?

When european people play US DaoC, and goes raiding in our primetime which isn't US people's primetime, is there a whine about the time of day from the US people? Probably not since they have some nice timezones aswell.

This turns out not to be the case. (that's the polite way of saying that you are telling porky pies)

From the AusDAOC web site, a site by and for the Australian DAOC community: http://www.ausdaoc.net/article.php?id=38

There is, at this stage, no natively Australasian version of DAoC, nor any Australasian servers. Hopefully that may change one day (in the same way it did with Ultima Online), but for now, Australasian players need to choose between the Mythic and GOA versions of DAoC (CTOnet's version doesn't seem to be available here), and their respective servers.
Australians have to choose between Mythic and GOA like everybody else.

oh ok i stand corrected. I have seen the Aus site before this post and see that they where ahead in patches, never knew they had a choice between Mythic and GOA.

Always thought they where on the same servers as Mythic.

Learn something everyday.
