What i would do to have people on the servers

Dont take it the wrong way game.net is superb, i love it, but it seems very empty, whenever i look up the counter-strike or quake 3 servers, theres literally noone there, if im lucky there is perhaps 1 server to go in, will this get better, or will the servers always be empty?

The situation is improving, and as the number of subbed players increase, it will get even better.

Think of this as a nightclub early in the evening, there are too many people for the amount of the amount of dancing space, so it seems empty. But things will improve, and once more people are here, you will be able to play whenever you want.
