You dont loose anything if you die, you basically do a "ghost-run", you run back to your corpse and get revived there. But if you die and decide to release, you loose 100% dur on ALL your items (including ones in backpack). Atleast thats how it worked last patch

When you die you have two options:

1] To find your dead body and respawn. If you do this you do not lose anything .
2] To use a spirit healer. If you do this you get 25% durability loss to all equipment (except that kept in the bank). This means you will need to fix your equipment more frequently than if you found your dead body. Fixing your item costs money.

To the post above the durability is only 25% not 100%.

So they've changed it to NO item durability loss if you do the corpse run? i thought there was a bit, but not as much as when you used the spirit healer.

There's also a 10% durability loss for each item equipped at time of death, unless this has changed.

10% on dying and corpse run
25% on dying and reviving at the graveyard, with an exp loss

I think thats it, but things could have changed already

What I mean is you lose 10% at the moment of death, so that is lost even if you get rezzed.

Also, the 10% is only equipped items, the 25% instead is ALL items including stuff in your bags.

So in reality if you die and rez at the Spirit Healer you will lose 35%? Thats a bit off, so before when it was 100% you would actually lose 110% in total, do items go into minus durability?

No gef, it doesnt stack them. It takes 10% off as soon as you die, and then if you talk to the Spirit Healer and rez through it, you lose another 15%, making a total of 25% ( alot better than the previous 100% which was just stupid )

And no, there's no negative durability. And no items don't get lost when they got 0 dur. You just need to repair it so the stats work again.

Also, a merchant will not buy an item from you if it is on 0% duration, but luckily, repairing it from 0-100% costs less than the value of the item.
