What happens if you don't pick a class at 5th?

Do you just carry on as whatever you started until 50th, where you're the only level 50 elementalist (or whatever) in the entire world?

Do you still need to go to some new trainer to progress your skills or can you use the old one till you do? Or do you just get stuck with a 1000 odd ability points to spend on nothing and only using the base abilities.

Can't get exp at lvl7 if you are still elementalist/fighter/mage/etc afaik :)

Oh okay, I won't test it out, but it would be fun if you could go all the way.

works like this

at level 5 and 10 bulbs you won´t ding

you can keep on killing stuff and if you kill enough, then when you see your trainer you will ding 6 when you choose profession

in theory you can level to 50 without training, downside is

at 50 you require 1.000.000.000.000.000.000 points of exp to level (example I don´t know the actual nr.)

BUT you will still only get 40exp from a bluecon....

so as you can see even getting level 10 will take you a few weeks ;)

Well maybe they could add some sort of prestige class if you really percivere and train at a later level.

lol, what about Necro's? why do they have a sub-class exactly?

Note: Was asked what a subclass is today, just to say i define a subclass as a viking, mystic, rouge, etc (To use midgard examples)

Because prestige classes would be extra power, but less versatile and take much patience, say for reaching a certain level (obviously not 50) and not specialising.

When you are at level 6 and have 10 bubbles you cannot gain any more exp.

Could also be level 5 and 10 bubbles, but you just stop gaining exp at some point.

Well i did it with my BD when i was lvl'n him to lvl 5, i continued after he dinged 5, got 10 bulbs, and kept on killing mobs for another hour, when i went to the trainer when i got SI, i became a BD, and dinged lvl 6 and got about 7 bulbs on that lvl.

Aha.. but you don't know how much exp you have and you can't get to level 5+ unless you pick a class :/

It's kinda pointless to be an unspecialised character though, the difference between level 4 and 5 (after training) is huge.
