What Happened

when i first started playing again after beta( just before christmas or a bit after) i started a skald called wisdom got to 24 and bg was the greatest thing i have ever done in this game there where like always 20+ mids in there and 20+ albs too and even 1 fg of hibs !!!! oh yes thats right hibs !!!!! when i went there with my bd there was not much action about 1fg gank solo players albs and hibs where extinct. what happened to bg1 did bg0 kill it off or are the people spread too thinly over bg0 and bg1 i personaly think bg0 should have never been created

rofl i stopped playing beacuse i was going to come back when SI came and make a bonedancer before i knew ANYTHING about them but they sounded like a fun class, now i suggest you sit down and open a nice can of shut the fuck up and go roll a charecter that can beat a bd

why if you want to have fun in bg's must you roll a class that can kill a bd ? By the sheer nature of youre statement youre proving how insanly overpowered the class is, particularly at that level. It is one of the main reasons why you wont see a hib in thiranki very often .. they dont have the population to put out decent numbers (which the albs do .. yawn, whine, alb zerg etc) and they dont have the sheer overpoweredness of the bd to compensate, or a class that can comfortably kill a bd with ease .. nevermind the 5 or so you normally see running around together.

Played aber today, saw one hib intotal in around 5 hours, was a fg mids (abit more i think) vs no more than 10 albs at a time. 70% of the mids were either a hunter or a bd. You say roll a class that can kill a bd. We should'nt have to, we should roll a class we want to play for fun. My choice was a theurg, and i had a great time. One on one with a bd no chance however. Basically need him to be looking the other way for 8 seconds or its spaminsta4tehwin interupting me and taking me down in admittedly 5 nukes, but add to that the fact his hp goes up each time, + pets and its a real pain.

Found a sure fire way to drop them though...

Let them come pk camp (which they obliged quite readily today ) and use some seige.

You were the wind Theurgist in the black robe, bigchief? Despite being a Mid, I fully support your BD squashing campagin. I utterly, utterly hate the damn things. Watching them all march blindly to their deaths was great. I probably shouldn't have laughed at them so much in the CG, though.

Neoplatonist is currently lvl20 and squashing some red guard with an onager in thid

Still only die to bd's and bloody archers Think that'll change come prime time and the sb zerg heh.

Just squashed 2 red con hibs in one shot though. Makes me feel all good inside

pry playing an enchanter they can beat bonedancers quiet easily but do i hear cry nerf to them ? no i could list moe charecters which could be a bonedancer but im not going to shout our weaknesses from the roof tops im going to lets u ppl figure them out. play the game with some tactics now and again not just run at a bd full on and expect to live beacause it aint gonna happen

BD's only have two weaknesses....

1. Mezz their pets, and take the BD out accordingly...
2. Remove insta life tap quick bar button from keyboard with screw driver, and take the BD out accordingly

I believe you missed the entire point. I should'nt have to play a bonedancer killing class to have fun in the battlegrounds. Ofc some classes can kill them, the one you mention being a hib, and if you had read my post you'd notice im an alb.

If youre going to respond to posts I make at least give the courtesy of reading mine first.

Classes that can kill BD in RvR:
Chanter with MoC
Light eld if he gets the jump.
Maybe sorc or caba but i dont realy know about albs.

Classes that can kill BD in BG:
Inf/NS (providing there not utter gimps)

Menta can kill a BD in RvR - STT is harsh on BDs.

Inf killing a BD in the BG is easy, walk up, hit PA, cha-ching RPs.

in odins other night less than a FG of us ...along came 3 BD's with there tribes of skels behind em a healer! & a skald i htink it was

Maeloch (our ment) STT = BD's dead in seconds healer & skald tried to run but, nm lads maybe nxt time

i coulndt stop <gigglin> for quite a while i can tell ya, only thing i miss was not being able to see the players faces when all the skels turned on em, but the thought of there expression was just as good lol
