What GEForce Card to buy...

GeForce 4 Ti4600
or
GeForce 4 Ti4800SE (x8 AGP support)

I have an x8 AGP m/board and the 4800SE is £50 cheaper.

Which one?

Well I bought a 4800SE , I know they arn't as fast or flashy as the 4600 but it runs the game fine gives a more than decent score in 3DMark. And I couldn't really justify the extra 50 for the 4600.

I think the 4800SE are based around the 4400 card with 8x AGP but the 8x AGP doesnt really make and difference because you arn't getting up to the bandwidth restriction of 4x AGP.

But SI runs fine with all the bells and whistles and not noticed lag really.

But as they say the choice is yours

I think I will go with the 4800SE then.

Glad to hear someone whose bought a card and got one working - my Radeon 9500 is on its way back now!

Actually - I just bought the x8 AGP Ti4800 (not the SE version) for £185 (£30 more) to be delivered tomorrow so Im happy now!
