What Fan

Lo peeps,

In the market for a new HsF, got one at the moment, runs my xp 1700+ [at 1800+] at about 42 idle but is a loud fan.

I need a good HsF gonna keep it near 40c and need it to be a lot less noisey

Alpha with a lower powered fan on it would work well.

You could try one of those converters that allows you to use an 80mm fan to a 60mm housing. Then you could run the fan at low rpm.
