Yeah, nVidia cards vs the world is a bit like VHS vs Betamax (for anyone old enough to remember).
nVidia cards arent the strongest, but the support and stability of the drivers actually makes them a better bet than anything else. An nVidia owner simply plugs in the latest detonator drivers and all is fine, a lot of other people have a complete nightmare involving random lockups, flashing polygons and god knows what else..
