Ah yes, the £1 coin often called "The Thatcher", because it was thick, unwanted and tried to look like a sovereign.

I like the £2 coin. I wish I had a lot more of them....at least 500,000 of them...

also get £1 notes here, but they are becoming more and more rare, as I think only one bank still produces them...thank goodness, they are a pain if you get given them now a days.
