Well - if you want to try the new patch and still maintain compatability - make a copy of your q3 dir, and then apply the patch to that (obviously you need the space on your PC to have 2 copies of q3 - and it does need to be 2 complete copies, you can not get away with just having 2 seperate exe's)

Its good, well there are issues with it, but once the release is officially released should be fine.

PR 1.25

I think that the new PR 1.25 is a good job from ID. Sure, some of the changes made with this release are coming a bit very late (e.g.the splash damage bug),cos many players have developed tactics based on this aspects. Nevertheless i think that it shouldnt be to difficult to create some new ideas about playing duels at T4.

The other new features are welcome and from now on we have what we might call some equal conditions for players with low cost machines and those who can afford to buy the newest and hottest equipment for their PC´s. That´s far much more fair then the circumstances in the past.

Conclusion : PR 1.25 is a good job and im glad we have it now.And those guys who are unsatisfied in the moment will soon accept the changes and all things will be as usual
