what chracter is most fun to play?

and why is it so much fun?

I like my cleric best:
-Chain armour is not to bad. Coral banded is easiest high level armour you can get your hands on.
-Ressing people gives positive feedback
-Smite looks cool
-I like giving someone 9 different buffs
-Not a real problem finding a group

-takes 3.0sec to cast mezz and you can cast it while moving around
-You can wear chain

sorcs (bloody hard to lvl though)

I've tried a Sorc, Inf, Friar, Fire-Wiz, Theu, Scout, Cleric and an Armsman. Inf and Sorc are the ones I'd recommend above all others. Although this is a personal choice

Inf:
- Sneak around groups of Mids/Hibs and they don't have a clue.
- One-shot someone in said group and watch the resulting commotion!
- Very RvR Based.


Sorc:
- Charm even-con mobs to do your bidding.
- Nice debuffs for PvE
- Mezzez
- Nukes
- Amnesia(v.under-estimated spell)
- Good to solo, better in groups

I'll go with that I got a whole 4 ways to blow stuff up and some funky ice PBAE thing, doesn't do much, but looks pretty... but blowing stuff up is where the fun is at...

a good class for fun must be both good for PvE and good for PVP
classes like infil-scout really sux at pve and rule at pvp

and other classes like cabalist,paladin rule at pve and quite sux at pvp


i believe the best classes for fun must be quite balanced good for xp (group needed) and good for pvp (hehe slap the midie)

from all those classes the best is the minstrel


can solo pvp

and easy to find groups

I tried all Alb classes except Cabalist. I enjoyed Sorceror the most, although finding a decent pet was really annoying.

I enjoyed Friars the least, purely because they can't pull atm. I will roll another friar when we get the patch, then I suspect I will really enjoy it.

Low level soloing, I adore my theurgist so far.

plus spending 2.5 spec points x level is loads of fun and takes 3 times (well technically 2.5 times you bloody pedants) as long as my next favourite class.

Burning shit just rocks, I tell ya and leveling is just a cake walk when your chain pulling orange con mobs all bloody day. Plus you can Nuke things with a fire wizard.

Ah, a man after my own heart Tenko. It seems it takes a special sort of person to play a fire wizard...the same sort of person you should NEVER let anywhere near matches and lighters etc (if you value your personal property, house and indeed your hair).

And no, you don't get PBAE in fire spec, and you don't get magma shields in it either, but I've got crappy versions of both (like I said, doesn't do much, looks pretty though)

But chain pulling oranges? you got a nice pretty minstrel stuffed up your robe mate? You could chain pull 3, then sit around for an hour or so while your power regenerates. Burning stuff is cool, but damn mana regenerates slowly.

Judging from my cleric its NOT fun to play him;
it has been boring enough since 29lvl (thats when i started doing pygmies) and its getting more boring now - actually when started doing tanglers at 37lvl hope for some more fun whenever possible for example wizzard coming in grp and pulling with AOE whole tangler island (40+++ gobbos) or then again some scout with critical on tangler which I think has the same effect
At least has been fun since now in rvr all the time rezzing people and sitting l8er on to regain mana (just kidding)
(by the way a healer specced cleric just stands there all the time, clicks and presses a single button for all u guys who have no experience in healing clerics)
My theurgist is much fun tho. Im playing solo for -hm- lets say 3 weeks now just for the the thrill and im stable at 10.45 lol

And then goes my infiltrator hehe ...

My opinion ? : minstrell great laugh heh especially for that poor 50lvl thane who was slaughtered the other day by a grp of 40ers and didnt get a clue of what got him (hm a train maybe)
