For prydwen go with SB... Zerkers, warlocks & BD's are easymode when not zerged... but since there's almost always a lot more albs in thid making a SB would be best I think!

I would deffo roll a skald u gonna love the spd and the insta mezz makes it fun to go up against 2-3 at the same time and with decent gear its doable aswell

ok, dont roll a skald, they suck if the target resists the mezz, dont roll an SB u get killed if your not thugs hunters are a waste of time, zergers - crap solo, BD - no fun at all, person, insta life tap, dd dd, oh i bin hit, insta life tap, heal by pet, enemy dead. healer - screwed if u get in melee, warriors are just useless and whorelocks...... dont speak 2 me about them.... grrrrrr, now alb, alb is a fantastic place, lol...

as my aug healer in rog gear i managed to take down a armsman in melee.... so they dont suck and they can at higher levels solo a few encounters wich few other classes cant...

I played solo aug healer a lot in Thid (Degenerez), and it can be quite fun (She isn't in rog gear tho ) Be prepared to die a lot, but it's just great to win a fight. Funny to watch dualwielders wear themselves down on the dmg shield

Another good thing is that you don't need a buffbot, only miss out on the dex/qui (Very convinient for me, as I never owned a 2nd account)

I'd still go for SB then... very fun to play and you can play it when you want... but if you go for a groupchar then what midgard needs is prolly healer/shammy... shammy with okay cave (just go for end2 and 20 cave or something... take longwind 2 with your RSP's... then kite them alot) can also solo good ...

well i have to say as much fun as an sb is to play at times - i just rolled a dark sm for the first time and tried on saturday - as a thid toon it rocks

Such great utility at thid level. Spec life tap (high damage buffed ) ae mez, pbae mez (when qc'd will get rid of any stealthers on you) root, dex / qui debuff .. and the pet =) which is uber, last nite my pet solod two nightshades whilst i was underwater healing it now and again

played 2 thanes in thid one had static tempist for about 2 days before i deleted him 2h thanes do mass dmg - 23 Hammer/ SC rest shield for engage against teh silleh scouts. Had a shield spec thane aswell 21 Hammer 20Sc 16ish shield something around that blockrate sucked still 2h hammer + DDs on any stealther = him at 40-50% from the jump off.

Dark spec SMs are fun remember having my one cerbaros before NF sooooooo long ago she rocked although pbaoe mezz tended to get resisted even with 24 Darkness +5 :< runecarvers are fun to if you like bolt - bolt dead casters.

The thing with Dark SM's is, they're actually just a poor version of the Sorcerer (except the PBAOE mezz, but 1875 range mezz > any other). Anything the Dark SM has, the Sorc has it too + a lot more

I'm from mid/exc and play a lot of thid..if albs zerging/on a keep take, roll a Cave shammy! mine killed a lot of alb casters etc in 1/2 dots before he dinged out , and as albs dont play healer classes in thid (unllike mids ) they all die
plus a bolt...DD, bases, and base line heals..very fun to play against zergs

I agree with Piko, AOE Dot is loads of fun..

If you want melee the 2 best imho are skald and zerker.

Skald - awsome solo ability with speed and mezz, they also hit like a truck in thid.

Zerker - without a doubt the most overpowered melee class in thid (with Mercs). I got addicted to searching for that maximum hit. You will never see another melee class hit of over 600 in thid outside PA - Awsome fun...

Imho dont play a caster, they dont own in thid like they do in the end game.
