No Internet at my new place, don't know how long I am going to be here, so I tethered my Xperia Arc to my PC and for shits and giggles decided if I could play a FPS game online (Blacklight Retribution)

Less than 115 ping........connecting via a PHONE.....

Wow....

Popped to the shop and got one of those new three dongles with a theoretical top whack of 21mbps, be interesting to see how that does.

As it stands my phone is perilously close to beating my phone line connection at the old place......

T-Mobile is good, played online few times with hotspot, even in remote places with no discernable lag and they have never throttled link or charged me for going over allowance, spent a whole day using torrent ffs.
