What ammo to use?

Ok i know this:-

Standard ammo for 'soft' targets.
Armour peircing for armoured targets.

What does reinforced armour come under? do i use standard or armour piercing.

I'm asking this because i unloaded a full clip of standard into an NC reinf. infantry grunt yesterday and that was using a cycler (50 bullet clip rounds). Yes he died in the end but i thought. Should i have used armour piercing for him?

Standard mate, Armour piercing is purely for MAX units and Vehicles, I prefer not to use it anyway. I don't think the difference in damage is great enough to carry them around with me.

I have an AV weapon for anything vehecular... ofc, 3 shotting reinforced exo dudes aint bad either

But normal bullets for my peashooter

Ive dumped all my armour piercing ammo. Not much point taking on a max with medium assault weapons.

Yes there is ffs, Ap ammo and a few rockets between hmm 2 men maybe? and hes a deadman

AP ammo is shite versus normal troopers.

Normally 6 shots of the NC shotgun pistol takes down enemy infantry.

While using AP ammo I had to shoot the guy about 16 (!!!!) times.

Not worth it as far as I'm concerned.

When you're a stealther you don't have rocket launcher backup when you're BEHIND enemy lines shooting a Phoenix user

The only reason I was using it was because it was all the grunt I looted the pistol off had left
