Previously I just downloaded a bunch of addons for the sake of it and some were great, some were crap, and some just gave me countless error messages, but now everything is outdated again and I want to try and keep it in order rather than go mental. Can anybody recommend a few handy addons to enhance play? I'm a Priest and a tailor/alchemist. I had a few good ones before, there was one that allowed me to create my own quickbars, and another that looked after my bags and kept everything neatly ordered and stacked. Are there any mods that keep data on heals/damage done, things like that? Also I haven't been on a "raid" yet, would I need anything for those? They sound a bit hectic. Cheers chums!

Raid.

CT raid mod http://ctmod.net/ Just grab, "Raid Assist" Used by raid leaders to assign Main Tanks and check all sorts of INFO.

NECB or Natur enemy cast bar, http://wow.curse-gaming.com/en/files/details/2786/natur-enemycastbar/

Gives progression bars for times from mobs and player, Also handy for PVP stuff.

La vendetta Boss Mods, http://wow.curse-gaming.com/en/files/details/4940/la-vendetta-boss-mods/

Bit like NECB.

Other,

As a priest and with the latest "FIXES" you'll want to get smart buff/smart debuff. http://wow.curse-gaming.com/en/files/details/2071/smartbuff/ single click decurse/healing and such like.

Bar mods atm i use a self modded Bongos. http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/fileinfo.php?id=4744

I'm a big fan of ACE mods: http://www.wowace.com/ (ACE2 is a library set on which a load of mods are written).

If you're going raiding, I'd recommend oRA2, Bigwigs and Grid as alternatives for CTRaidAssist. oRA2 gives you the main-tank lists and raid-management functions. Bigwigs provides the 'boss mod' functionality, if your raid decides to use them - most do. Grid provides the "40 green bars" that most healers/decursers end up with. I particularly like grid, since it shows who has aggro (which can give you some clues as to what's going wrong).

Some other useful ACE mods include Bartender - an endlessly configurable button-bars/key-bindings mod; simpleMiniMap - a simple minimap (duh), and oCB - a nice chunky casting-bar.
