Using CS as a bubble breaker, this might be an interesting spec imo, or is it gimped? ;p Some1 tell me pls (Aybabtu? :D)

Also, what happens to off parry styles if u cant parry? cant recall.

Erm, doesn't critical strike help damage more than dual wield though? Not really sure, just have that impression.

Anyway, styles you can't use don't appear on the style list, not certain what happens to possible chains off these styles (would imagine they'd disappear too but that would require some sort of logic behind the style tree, a thing that Mythic isn't particularly fond of)

He wants Dual Shadows.. biggest reason to spec 50dw, and that template is a "classic" mercfil ... dont you hate it when they másh together two words to make a new "cool" name :p)

And DW increases chance to swing both weapons.. a little anyway ;)

And yup the chain moves show up but not the starters (like parry styles in this case)

Well first, you wont get the style that goes off when parrying...... can't have a style you can't use like 50 thrust tanks doesn't get DF.......

2nd, Speccing DW will not incress your dmg but only give you stlyes and better chance to swing off hand, reason why i think DW is not a viable spec line for infils due to lack of str to incress dmg.

oh and even tho PA is only for the bubble breaks it will du crap dmg :)

worth a shot if you want to do dragon hunts for a respec when/if you don't like it :D

str has nothing to with DW.. its based of weapon type ;) so if you go slash yes then str will be a factor but if you go thrust it wont be as big factor (thrust is 50/50% dex/str and slash is 100% str but you all kn ew that already ;))

If u wanna gimp urself thats a good spec yes :)

Take it from me, I've been there and done that, 50dw aint worth it for an infil. dual shadows doesn't do nearly the amount that is needed to give up all the cs styles..

If u wanna do dmg, go cs.

The hamstring chain is über, 50dw gives u 1 style thats based off and evade and it sucks ass.

Pa - Your pa dmg with 21 cs will do about the same amount as a normal hit, TRULY not worth it just for a bubble break.

Garrote/achilles does about the same dmg output as dual shadows if u take it to 50, or do like me (not 50 but 47 since the last style in cs sucks ass, 47 is just to raise the dmg output per hit.)

The only reason i can see for even looking at dw is the raise of the offhand hits, but remember that infils don't really have many good Ra's to begin with, getting dr to 4 (if u decide to play long enough) aint very hard. And then u still get above 50% chance to land an offhand hit. (if dw is over 20 specced and u have a high enough rr)

Listen to one who has played with 50dw to rr5 as an infil, its NOT worth it. Believe me.

But then again, its ur char, do as u please.

Stt, one of the best infils is full DW spec, saw her deathspam alot a couple of months back. Ask her.

Im pretty sure that it only increses dmg on chains and only for Merc's same with CDW for BM's and NS's.......

As for Sst - she also has a bad as buffbot :)

Its not the spec that makes the player, its the playstyle.

And with a 50dw spec and 50thrust i can promise u that casters will eat u alive. (Sst has also stated this.)

DS isn't a very smart choice to go though, U have to take the spec to 50, its front based (AND U WILL FAIL IT! I CAN GUARANTE IT), Its the only style in dw that has a minus to defence and it doesn't really do THAT great dmg. It does about the same amount of dmg as wyvernfang.

Garrote/Achilles does about the same dmg as ds, its an anytime style with follow up, it has a slow style instead of a stupid 7dmg bleed.

The reason Sst is good isn't because of her spec, her playstyle and her 50 enhancement bot is what makes her good and she knows what shes doing. Just going after the spec is truly stupid.

if u wanna be a shadowzerk so bad, roll one. Infils will never go in on 1on1 with a shadowzerk if they have purge up and on equal terms.

Don't go for 50dw, its not worth it.
