Isn't it about time to kill the dragon?

*havent seen it yet*

We could assemble a few groups of lvl 43+ (coz i am 43 :p ) and go for taking the dragon down, we would gain that much exp on our way in that a death wouldnt matter in the end.

Maybe 4-5 groups? I have no idea of what kind of damage this beast does tho...

Or else we could always get some nice droooops

Because i believe that even on the U.S.servers noone has ever beaten the Hibernia dragon.

Hey I am always game for a laugh and U may be rite the exp along the way would be more than worth the defeat at the claws and teeth of the Dragon Sire.

Some tasks are so glorious that even to fail is a great honour. :D:D

heh, with "a few groups of lvl 43+" you might, might get close enough to see it before you got ganked by a horde of glimmer knights.

i don't think we could kill it if we took every hibbie in the realm out there.

The damage Cuuldurach the Glimmer King does is off the scale from what I've read. It throws out AE for 2000+ every 20secs and is meant to be guarded/healed by the Glimmer Prince who runs around the region.
Only problem is getting to the bugger. The vally of the dragon has around 100000000 con purp deathwatchers/geists etc. We once took a 3 party lv45+ army there and quite a few made it to him but died to agro's on the way there.

Not sure if any Hib realm in the US have taken him out yet. I think one server has managed it. These pics were taken from the US server Tristian.

Well I read about one dragon beeing slayed (not sure wich tho)

The way they did it was zerg it with pets and charmed mobs. Only problem was that they didnt get either exp or drops because they players didnt damage it enough..

On the other hand this was a bug and players should be able to zerg the dragon and still get the rewards for it..

Does the dragon drop anything btw`?

That was the Albion dragon on Palomides, the first one to go down (after that they fixed the dragon's spell resistance table and targeting AI, which were buggy).

As for drops, he's supposed to drop tons of l00t but since they killed it with pets, it didn't drop anything at all. Whoops! (Mythic manually rewarded the dragonslayers with the stuff it should have dropped afterwards).

Why have a dragon there in the first place then?
Quite boring having a dragon in your realm and never be able to kill it :confused:

Well of course it can be done but its REALLY hard.

Imguessing U will need a lot of ppl and some good planning.. but as it is now we dont have the players/lvls to do it.

Its still fun to try tho :)

We can go kill some epic mobs in CF. Juggernaut and co :)

i am sure its killable, maybe the right tactic just hasnt been found yet? i think sometime we should ship out some siege engines when we have the levels to have a seirious try at the dragon :)

I don't think it's killable and I'll tell you why:
- It's surrounded by very deadly purple aggro (3 groups of lvl 40-50 got to dragon and got wiped out by his friends)
- its aoe effect kills most lvl 50 heroes instantly (does 2000-3000 damage)
- its aoe effect is every 10-20 seconds
- its aoe is insta so when you actually got someone tanking it they will probably be toasted
- I believe it resists just about every magic spell
- Mythic needs an epic mob that is challenging to kill (an end-goal so to say)
- Mythic just raised mob regen when out of combat so res and try again tactic won't work (it didn't already because people got tired of death after death)
- It dodges siegeweapons.. apparently

They made it so you would need tactics to kill it but I think they forgot to think of a possible tactic themselves.

The come from two sides with 2 huge partys didn't work coz one party was dead before the other got to the dragon..
Just believe they made the dragon too uber.. It can wipe out 150 lvl 50s in a minute..

how about 100 shades all backstabbing it at once :D should be a nice sight if it doesnt kill him =]

but then knowing mythic the dragon can prolly spot through 60 stealth in a sec with a 100 metre radius

Virulent Soul Sapper and Heart of the North are dropped by the Albion dragon, so yes, ours is killable atleast. Yours needs a different tactic ofcourse.

Thanatlos: nope, your wrong. Ive seen the screenshot when albion killed Golestandt (on a US server ofcource), and from what i remember he dropped like 16 items...

Bugger, cant find it now, but as soon as i do ill post it here.

doh forgot of course that we cant kill a dragon cause we have FUCKED UP charms, mentalist charms are still bugged and very useless, cursed to never be fixed where hunters and alb sorcs can mez all kinds of mobs easily and effective

from what ive heard of friends in usa servers u cant even hit the dragon till u r lvl 45 . and it takes over 100 people to kill it . the dragon that got killed in albion on american servers as u said was nuked with thurgs pets etc etc . it will be a long while before european realms have the lvl/army to be strong enuff to try it . not even us in albion have talked of attempting it yet :) afaik i dont think albs have even ventured out to kill the epic mobs in lyn barfog "king of barfog kills .. the legendary affanc" and a cple of others prolly be a while before euro realms are strong enuff to attempt them with any realistic chance of beating it

killed most of the the named mobs in llyn barfog a couple of weeks ago but damn that afanc dude is mentally hard, wouldnt mind killin moran the mighty either but 4 lvl 40+ groups of 8 many lvl 45+ didnt even scratch him, hes almost as hard as the dragon

130++ lvl 45+ albs failed on the us servers, and the hibbie dragon is supposed to be harder.

What kind of damage?

6000++ damage area of effect spell is what it does damage wise.

That was the mid dragon that was killed when resistances and AI routines weren't fixed yet.. he got a lot harder after that (alb and mid dragon were killed before they changed that)

Hib dragon has never been killed yet

DAmmit hibbie are the underdogs yet we get all the hard stuff lol
