What about IRC?

In the Disgusting Old Days, I seem to remember belonging to a Clan. And we used to meet and chat on our own channel on Barrysworld IRC.

Then, I lost my job, and had to start getting really really busy, and my mouse needed upgrading, and I got a new machine without the right video card for web serving, and all sorts of other stuff. I didn't even know BW got wound up, I was so out of touch.

This week, I thought: "I'll just see what the channels on BW IRC are doing" and... can't find them.

...point me at them if they exist? or explain why they don't?

It doesnt make any difference to irc channels, yea you can connect to Barrysworld irc, but its no different to connecting to loads of other random quakenet servers.
#bwadmins for example, will still be there even tho barrysworld will not.

I just meant that irc.barrysworld.com won't work, so you'll have to use irc.uk.quakenet.org or something.
