Do you think werewolf should have its own forum, or just stuck at the top of General like it is just now?

It only annoys draylor in the general. I do no see why a couple of sticky threads effect anyone, and people not playing actually read and follow the game as it is.

There is someone trying to play the game in DAoC OT, which is what got me thinking about this. I guess we could make him a mod and see what happens, if you all agree that we should just leave the games as they are.

The advantage of a standalone forum is that we wouldn't have to make people mods if they wanted to run games themselves, or suffer threads not getting locked, and fools posting when they aren't playing.

it's handy. I say go for it, although I do like to see Draylor displeased every now and then tbh :)

By its own forum, I meant for playing the games in, not "should I get rid of this passworded forum?" I'm confused that Sir Frizz likes this set up, and yet voted for a change.

I misunderstood then. I was under the impression that what I voted would keep the setup as it currently is. Like, games played in General, then have a seperate forum for the dead. Like how it is at the moment.

Is it possible with the forum software to create a forum where, the thread creater has mod powers only within the thread they create? It would make it perfect for this kind of thing, as the attempts to play in the daoc forums have shown. If this was possible then I would say yes, it is a great idea.

I've moved your vote, Frizz. Though not your name, since polls don't let me do that.

Ch3tan, I'll see what I can find out.

I'm fine with either way. Maybe should ask the none players what they think?

Bit quick to jump on Draylor there aren't you Tab?

i don't mind either way. although without wishing to sound too harsh, i like the games being full of people i know rather than random strangers.

I think you're more likely to pick up participants if its in the general forums rather than its own forum.

ECA, thats what I thought. Having its own forum would make life easier for other people to run the games, but at the expense of having a forum full of cobwebs. ;)

Fwiw - I've no real interest in playing, but it can make for entertaining reading. I say leave it in general.

nath, want me to give you the password to this room next time, so you can discuss the game? (It changes as each game starts)

I would like to try my hand at running a game at some point, and ice had been running games in ot for a few weeks without powers without too much fuss.

Personally I would say have a seperate forum for the games, not limited to werewold but other variations too such as Mafia.

When you start a game you could post in the General forum or OT and link to it in the seperate forum. The ability to mod a thread you have started in the section would be ideal to run the games if it could be done.

Would not have it passworded though.
