I'm better [finally heh], more or less and have gone to workies. Atm, I'm the only one here, but that's fine with me heh. Quiet surrounds me as I 'archive' the zillion zillion emails that I've received during the h00ge 7 day sick-leave I've been 'enjoying'.

Some idiot has seen fit to exchange our perfectly fine coffee machine for a 'new' model! NO! NOT THIS AGAIN!

You understand, gentle reader, that I wouldn't be b|0tching about this, were it not that the 'stuff' that this new monstrosity dishes out for my consumption is something akin to unprocessed industrial sludge. It tastes vile, and smells worse.
It's early. I'm at work. I require good coffee to function at peak efficiency. I do not have good coffee right now.
Life sucks.

Where I work they won't let us have kettles at our desks any more, some bollocks to do with health and safety. To compensate, they have provided machines that dispense free hot water. Unfortunately, as everyone knows, you need boiling water to make a decent brew and these machines only heat to 96 degrees. Also, I don't understand how it is safer to carry a floppy plastic cup of very hot water from the machine to your desk than having the kettle on your desk. <Sigh>

I even tried the 'cappaccino' option [pure desperation, as I only drink my fix pure -no additives/pollutants]
well, it tasted like a watery chocolate-coffee with white bubbles on top :/ and had me wondering as to what had been done to it inside the machine heh

I'm on hot chocolate and tea only now - another coffee and my stomach would collapse. Since the vending machine tea is foul, hot chocolate is the only option at work.
