So that 1 in 5 increased chance of lung cancer, which I assume from the way youve expressed it is a favourable study you have found.
Even assuming that you haven't factored in the other cancers, such as stomach, throad and pancreatic.
Cancer is not a way you'd choose to die. For yourself and for those who may be around you when you have it.
1 in 5 odds as a gamble on having or not having lung cancer dont look very good odds to me. Might be ok for putting money on a grand national favourite, but not for this.
You actually missed tongue cancer, most if not all nicotine is transferred to the brain via the tongue when smoking - at least that was what I was told when I visited Fag Ends to give up smoking - thus the apparent need to inherently smoke and inhale is pointless
