weirdo grp setup..

was just thinking with spirit cabbys being fotm and all, maybe trying out a new grp setup that could work ?

you got 2 types of debuff nuking, kills anything with range.. you got wizzy with moc (xD) to blast savages, and you got the theurg also for occasional debuff nuking..

with the right people i think this group has a shot at it actually, well its just something i thought up maybe someone tried allready, who knows oO

If you did, please gimme some feedback, seeing im gonna toa´fi my wizzy and hoping it´ll get any action except soloing at weird hours, before NF hits EU..

sure, can swap the clerics for 2 avalonian thrust/parry pallys, and they both doubleheal ;p

btw, could swap mindsorc for a bg´er.. but then you gotta work fast on the nukes etc, and its hard when your sleepy and stuff..

This has been run to a degree of success... A BG is a MUST now days thou. rare that the body sorc will have time to debuff ice thou and 1 of the mind sorc will have a hard time getting nukes in against hibs that GP as they be playing inturupt roll as you reliant on 2 debuff nukers and an ice wiz.

The ice wiz is best played defensively, assist nuke and then just pbaoe anyone that comes into range. Only time to play offensive is against GP hib casters and that is hard.

A theurg brings little to a caster group thou. pbt is no use really. sorc can inturupt just as well as long as he fast on the CC and keeps enemy grouped close and their nukes dont really bring much compared to the complete melee immunity that a BG tank can bring

he wants an ice wizz in there i think ... and you dont put another sorc in instead of a ice wizz, it would be another spirit cabby. Reason for this is that even if ma being attacked you got someone to debuff still for you.

well you see, the thing is if you got great players that group would be extremely versatile..

but guess thats just my opinion then full out nuker groups, arent the best seeing a wizzy can pop moc and get rid of tanks..

oh and id take the theurg for sure, only him and mincer would be interrupting, so it would be needed.. group can box up, or spread out depending on the situation.. but then again, the nuking department delivers 3x debuffed baselines and one debuffed specnuke.. not much will keep standing against that..

people on their toes should work, but yeah guess BG is close to essential.

edit: anyways this is just how i play the best, that i could see a group consisting of mixed casters working best nowadays.. i know how to play a wizzy, and yes they work great alone.. even better with a bodysorc, but then being able to having 3/4 dedicated damage classes in a grp debuffnuking should be nasty..

grouping up never works.. too many inturupts involved.. You need the ice wiz to work as a seperate unit basically we found out. You only go near the wiz as another caster if you got tanks on you so that the wiz can pbaoe them off you. then you come out the other side the box and move out aoe range the wiz and get back onto your nuker.

Inturupts on your group will be a killer and that is why i would always advice the bg pally personally. hopefully you can sprint out of range of tanks/to box quicker therefore being able to get back onto your job sooner. And also he can bg you while they try to hit you, allowing you to nuke them while they stand doing nothing
