Weirdest wheather i have ever seen Oo

I was out of town for a few days and I experienced this weirdest wheather i have ever seen (in my country)

It was about 5pm and the sky was clear blue, then all of a sudden i see black smoke coming from deep inside the forest (at least thats what it looked like), first i thought it was a forest fire but then it formed into some sort of huge vertical cloudwall which looked enormous Oo

it is hard to see on the picture how big it actually was, it looked like that shit from 'the day after tomorrow' and judging from the perspective/distance it must have been so fucking huge Oo

a few moments later these clouds had passed me and all light was gone, i never knew it could be that dark during the daylight hours

a few seconds after this picture came the heaviest thunderstorm i ever experienced and it was so fucking dark, dunno if this is common in other countries but ive never seen anything like it here

just wanted to share these beautiful picture i got from that storm with you, doubt i will ever see anything like this again

Once experience something similiar here in Denmark, and you can nearly feel the electricity in the air on your pictures.
I found it very amazing, that natur could change so fast, and also very freightning (sp?)

When i saw it i were at home, and the blast from the lightning was so powerful that it nearly blew the windows out

wierdest i've seen is, when I was about 10....

It was cold, and it was raining.

The minute the rain hit the ground, it froze.

All the roads everywhere were covered with ice... like a massive ice rink.

i have seen something similar when i was a kid but the worst experience of bad weather was when i was learning to fly gliders.

we were flying about 800ft up and a cloud bank came in and dropped visability down to 4 ft. and it stayed that way until 10 ft from the ground we had to be guided in by the air traffice control tower and make sure we didn't collide with the other glider that was up with us.

I remember that one, assuming we're talking about the storm in 96 or 97 it must have been, 6 pm (cet) everything was midnight black outside thunder crashing, at 9 it was a clear blue sky again, the storm smashed a whole line of trees at Tivoli.

Can't match anything like that, but the weirdest weather I ever saw happened in about a 40 minute spell while out in a cafe. When we went inside it was blue skies and lovely sunshine and within 40 minutes we got rain, sunshine, snow, sleet and hailstones. Was bizarre.

any1 from uk remember the big storms in the 80's? where the weatherman michael fish said "it'll just be a slight breeze" lol our garden shed got lifted right off the ground spun round and slamdunked back to earth i half expected to see a pair of pointy shoes sticking out from under it, storms lasted about a week.

something not entirely to do with weather but this girl i worked with years ago was a hair dresser on a cruise ship, they were doing a cruse through alaska when there was a total eclipse of the sun, as soon as the sun was fully coveres everything started going bugshit, whales and dolphins were going bananas by the side of the boat singing and beeping etc and jumping about and as soon as sun was clear they stopped, i was a little sceptical but was working in a casino at the time and a lot of the folks working there had been on cruise ships and had similar experiances.
