I play an SW and it seems as though alot of items dropped and from PQ influence rewards are stacked with the wrong stats for my class or at the very least not exactly useful ones.

Last 3 sets of PQs chapters 11,12 and 13 have all had items with willpower and initiative and very few with stuff I really need like toughness, wounds and ballistic.

I've had a few engineer drops as well which seem to be stacked with willpower
maybe mythic are planning to give ranged dps classes healing ? :p

Anyone else finding strange and not very useful stats on their items ?

Yes, it's not only used on healing. For melee careers it increaces ur change to disturb enemies spellcasting. So it's definatly not useless

Willpower is not only for healing.

Yep i know its also for other things but imho best stats for a scout specced SW are ballisitic for bow damage, toughness and wounds with others playing a more minor role along with resists of course.

If I'm stacked with willpower and have low wounds and toughness disrupting a caster if it even works for bows is the least of my problems ;)

It sometimes help to shop around in the pqrewards, the items you get from one race is usually very different from what you get from others, so take a discover tour and look at what you can get at the other maps.
But yes the stats are not always what they apear to be, its very hard to see the exact point sometimes as the tooltips are not that informative.
And dont underestimate resistances, they do make a big difference. :)

If i'm not mistaken the Shadow Warrior is the sneaky dude that is to sneak around the back and take out enemy casters. Now to stop them from casting and make it easier to kill them you need to disrupt which means Willpower. As a chosen I got abilities that hurt enemies if I disrupt them, pretty funny.
And having high initiative means you wont get hit by crits as much in both rvr and pve, not a bad thing. It also tops your chance to dodge, not a bad thing.

There are of cause diffrent ways to play each class, but I think in general the stats are placed pretty good. Its not always about the being top of the DPSmeter, but I guess WoW helped spread that around. The item stats leaves you with no choice but to think outside the box of what you normally do.

That said I cant help but think its odd that set items have really low stats and you need a "full" set before you get any stats, where if you left the set items and used regular items you often get the same resaults. The only thing you wont have it the bonus to AP HP regen or the lower / longer timer on abilities.
