Weird idea for rvr

The problem with rvr atm (as I see it) is that the groupsetup is kinda the same all the time, leaving "unwanted" classes without groups.

A solution to that could be to not allow two of the same class in the group.

Also, remove Bof, sos, instaAE mezz/stun, Baod and determination.

Personally i think this would lead to more fun and alot more versile rvr, and i think it would be more challenging than today where it's mostly /assist, sprint and /stick in meleegroups.

This way you would _really_ have to protect your supportclasses.

Ahwell, just a crazy idea that never will be implented :p

Gifv comments or better ideas plz!

lol @ savage replying , such fotm :D i think its a brill idea, start using the concept of Other crowd control , i.e this wud affect mids alot more with there fotm grps, 3healers 1shammy 3savages 1skald setup kinda thang :D tossers :D

Lots of different combos of groups work well - just not often with random pickup groups. Many people that RvR a lot take the time to optimise their RvR teams for whatever the current game mechanics favour.

I still like my oddball little teams that hit the frontier from time to time and don't think I'd change that for anything :)

Weird idea? Make it impossible for Mids to communicate in Emain with others by sends and make it impossible to make an Emain Chatgroup.

Also all conversations over /as and /gu regarding the location of the Hibs is not possible.

That would be a good idea I bet :)

Should have seen the gank group i saw on MLF last weekend, 3 thanes 4 healers and a shaman. :) They had a 15 min fight against 3fg hibs and won :D

i found your idea great, specially the part of only 1 class per grp.
if it ever happens will improve a lot RvR and the game generally.
nowdays many classes are useless in rvr cause of fotm grps ( 3 savage 2 healers, 3 mercs 2 clerics, 3 chanters 2 druids etc ), one class per grp doesnt sound bad, then grps must really have skills for teh win, grp formation will be not always the same, and as a result rvr will get more interesting less boring.

It's an totally stupid and idiotic idea if you play in Midgard, their main healer is also their main CC'er so they will have to sacrifice either good CC or even 1 healer that can actually heal, it's a totally stupid idea from mid point of view. From Hibernia and Albion it might be okay but not the way Midgard is built around only a few classes, imo it would make the classes more defined though, like support has to be pure support, no smite clerics no staff friars (since you could max have 2 healers in a group) and that's pretty bad since it would screw up a lot of specs and make many skills obsolete, furthermore with fewer healers in each group fights would be shorter than it is now, and what's the fun in that? (except not getting Bad Adders comming mid-fight :p)
