Weird CS problems...

I've been having a nightmare of a time with CS lately (since friday...) I keep getting kicked off servers with errors like :

CL_ParseServerMessage: Illegible server message - svc_bad
CL_Parse_Version: Server is protocol -1063665919 instead of 43

Anyone else getting this sort of thing ?? Is there a way to fix it ?? I've tried just re-installing CS - didn't work, I've now re-installed Half-Life, patched up, still the same

Ideas anyone ??

Hl 1006 blah blah may fix it if u blah use blah blah blah blah that instead.

Well dont play over a network then is your only solution.

I'm not playing over a network, so that's no solution... guess i'm just gonna have to wait till good old valve sort it out... thx anyway...
