Weekly RvR Group

This is an idea that I (sort of) stole from a previous thread (can't remember author)

The premise is thus:

Many Guilds aren't able to (& probably don't want to) put out regular optimised RvR groups.
This leaves many people looking for random groups, which can be very hit & miss.

So what I'd like to do is set up a weekly group, where the same people meet at the same time each week, to RvR together. Which would mean we'd have a ready made group, at least once a week, to kick some butt (hopefully!) in the frontiers.
I'm thinking weekly because I personally have limited game time (job, family commitments blah blah) & I have other things that I want to do in game.
If it's a success I could probably mange two evening a week though.

Tuesday/Wednesday nights would be good for me.
Am thinking 19:00GMT/20:00 CET cos that's about the earliest I could reliably be on line.

As for set up I'm thinking of the following:

Shield Warrior (Me!)
Savage/Zerk
Savage/Zerk
Skald
Shaman
Healer
Healer
Last spot for another tank or caster maybe.

High RR/experience not vital (I don't have either myself).
The whole point would be to work together to move towards them.

I'd like regular attenders though it wouldn't be a huge drama if you couldn't make a week.

Lev 50 a minimum requirement & having a maxed SCed set up is pretty useful too.

If anybody's interested please post class & when when you could play, hopefully the times I specified!

I´m willing to join u, thane 50 5L6 full sced and full capped (purge, mob 3, and many pasive ras), and thanes can do a nice ammount of damage, and are quite usefull in rvr (despite their lack of determination )

So far group is looking like this:

Thane = Arawem
Skald
Shaman = Eogren
Healer = Esena
Healer = Haroat (You far from 50?)
Runie = Zebolt

Not totally opted but I'm more than willing to go with who's interested. As a warrior I'm not exactly RvR opted myself.

Looks like the only class we really need is a Skald.

If we don't get one we could always use healer/Runie speed (assuming one of you has it!) & see if anybody else is up for last spot.
What do you folks think?

Problem is that things are going to come up every week & somebody or other is going to want it changed each time.
So I think it's easiest if we leave it as Tuesday's for now.

As I said in my original post I don't see it as a major drama if somebody can't attend one week. We'll just have to try & fill any vacant spots with Guild/Alliance/randoms.
Having said that I'd rather people were able to show up each week if at all possible.

I think I'd only try to replace somebody if they don't show up on a regular basis.
However, as I've never tried this before it's going to be on a 'see how it goes & react accordingly' basis.

Yeah we did... Too bad server crashed after one hour of playing and thats that with the first night of the RvR group

duno how much i got at mjollnir, cant remember tbh, didnt see that many ,will see when i log on in the morning might wanna make it twice a week if poss guys, would be nice to do it primetime on a sunday or something.. is a v good stable group.. not fotm but damn hard to bring down

Yeah it went pretty well I thought, at least until the Server crashed.
Not sure how many rp I got cos I couldn't get back on at all last night.

Same time next week I guess.

Twice a week would be fine with me. As well as Tuesday evenings I could do Wed/Mon evenings or maybe Sunday evenings. Weekends are a little difficult as every other one I have family commitments & can only get on at 9pm Sat/Sun.
What do you folks think?

Eogren are you still signed up for next week or were you pulling out all together?

I'm assuming Lenore/Arawem just couldn't make last night & are still up for it.

Emain was a bit quiet .... SHOCK HORROR hehe but was a nice group and went well.... until server crash when we went to defend mjoll lol

I was hackin down all sorts of invisble ppl laggin like a dead dog at mjoll so no idea how many rp's i got - but overall nice stable group and i look forward to twice a week if we can guys
