Whats the best wedding you've been to? I've been at some real stinkers, but yesterday I was at possibly the best wedding ever. No expense spared, great ceremony, the reception was brilliant, impromptu opera singers (disguised as waiters unknown to the crowd), fireworks, entertainer (G Michael lookalike), butterflies in boxes, fireworks, fire breathing lady, real-life statues, etc. Unfortunately I was working so I didn't get any wedding food, but still it was a great day, and I got to drive home at midnight with the top down all the way from Southport :)

No fights unfortunately, but hey you can't have it all :)

The best wedding I've been to was my Aunties. It was at this really cool mansion type place, with a big old fashioned maze and lots of errie statues. Me and my brother were like 12 and 10, and spent hours in the maze messing around. It was funny at the ceremony though, my brother vomited all over his suit due to the heat, then about 4 hours later he fell into a well wearing his own clothes, so had to change back into his suit (still covered in vomit) for the rest of the night. We slept overnight there too, I didn't sleep a wink though, one of the waiters told us the place was haunted. :( Also I became a hero because I saved this little kid from drowning. ;D

2 best weddings - 1. friends in France (French guy, English girl), they had a chateau in Burgundy, the wedding was over two days, French religous ceremony with mad women sat at the back knitting, then a parade of honking cars to the civil ceremony (you must have a civil ceremony in France), then off to the chateau. 17 course (!) meal, champagne all day and night, and then it carried on the next day with English v. French games (we won at boules, they won at cricket!).

2. My own. Got married in central London, stuck all the guests on an open-top bus, reception in Holland Park, free booze all night, fireworks, best best-man's speech ever.

Course, I still ended up getting divorced...

The best ;)

My own personal favourite was my Uncle John's wedding, married at St Dunstan's church and the reception was held at the huge community hall off of the Ben Jonson Road (1979 I was 7). Best part about it was they had this table top football me my brothers and my cousins played all night for free because the bloke behind the bar turned a switch or something. Next to the bar they had all this chicken in big boxes we just ate non stop, drank loads of Coke and played TT footy all night for free, superb!

Well I am honourbound and happy to say my own. 8 Years ago in July. Fantastic ceremony held at Old Trafford. Great Family occasion and the reception was fantastic. Great Speeches from my best man. Had 300 or so guests at the reception and the atmosphere was electric.
