Website help - Creation etc

i registered at a website for web hosting for my business at www.123-reg.co.uk but i dont want to create one of their crappy auto create instant websites.. i want to be able to control what it looks like....any way i can do that? any prog i can download??

all i know atm is the username and password....so if anyone suggests anything that needs any other codes/numbers to be known etc, if they could tell me where i could find them or how. i would be grateful!

That depends on your Web Hoster.
Visual Studio supports direct upload if web site have Frontpage support.
In any other case u can use any FTP client.
They should have some sort of explanation on what they support also -.-

do not use any software like that unless you want little control, i would reccomend you buy or steal a copy of Macromedia Dreamweaver and / or start looking at HTML, its pretty simple to use at first until you start adding new bits in, but its pretty simple anyways, Dreamweaver uses a method called WYSIWYG [ What You See Is What You Get ] you type your text in, format it the way you want it t look and it does it all for you, take a look at what dreamweaver can do, if you want then add me to your msn list: fearcraft@hotmail.com :)
