Website for cswk

I have to make a flash website for some cswk for uni.
The site has to be based on a movie, i am allowed to simply copy paste the content as the marks are for the presentation of the data.
I have narrowed it down to the following movies based on content, and potential.

1-Hellraiser 3/Bloodline -
there is absoultely loads of info for this due to the large numbers of movies that were made.
I have a few idea for this, one being for the pre-loader having his face (below)

with his eyes closed and none of the pins, but as the site loads the pins grow bigger and when loaded his eyes open
And a few other things which i think will look quite nice.
But on a bad point im not really particularly interested in the movies so cant really perfect it to a fans perspective, not that it matters since the marker is unlikely to be a fan either


2- Aliens Verus Predator
This again is very rich in content , with the added bonus of having computer games behind it meaning i can pinch gfx etc from the games and use them on the site. As a result i can get the exact camera views etc of scenes i want.
Also having a good number of movies behind the titles to get info from.
For this i was thinking of doing it so that the website is navigated like you were in a corridoor with various rooms for various parts of the site with the usual flickering lights and ambience that comes with a aliens movie

Going for hellraiser can get you into a funky looking, really humoristic, in a morbid way, website. But it's really a tough one to make considering not all are fans of the genre/movies. It's a stretch, but with right choices and finetuning, it would be the "better" site.

AvP is a more known genre and as such, an easier one to approach. It also gives you the possibility to create a double flashsite. You know, one designed for the alien within, one designed for the hunter. Combine both to create a seemles webby and you're scotch free *hiccup*

But, what do i know

Hellraiser is more dark and interesting imo. First three are excellent so focus upon them and you will have a nice project. AVP has potential tho, tough choice.

there is like 6000 films, a tv series, a cartoon, a comic, a kids nursrey book and all the shit you can buy like gloves, hat etc.

really good ideas you got there, i voted AvP just because its more modern and i really liked the corridor ideas you had.
but the hellraiser one is definately worth keeping for another project, the idea you had about the pins coming and eyes opeinging was great do you remember in the movies you saw what pinhead looked like before he got demonised? maybe if you take this idea up in the future have him as a normal man then turning in to pin head (if thats doable) and then you've got the puzzle box thing that you can play with (maybe use that like a key to open new pages etc?) and wasnt there a demonic laberinth in HR2? with all kinds of wierd stuff cropping up all over the place?

i dunno lol its just a really cool idea for something to do when you have more time, nice to see hellraiser hasnt been forgotten

: o was thinking similar, but i was gona do the navigation via the box itself, and each side of the box correpsonds to a link with a moving gif snippet in the shape as the icons on each side
but that would take alot of time i dont have unfortunately like you mentioned

Will do but a few months before that happens, the lessons on Flash start in a few weeks so i can get working on that aspect of the site,
but in the meatime some screenies
Note that they are raw files so big on purpose for my storyboard so may not be what the real site will look like, so you dont lose stuff when you scale
