In your guys opinions what is the best free webmail service.

Hotmail and Yahoo just get too much spam these days

If you live in a Telewest area, sign up for a Blueyonder account, comes with a webmail service. And it is a free service to sign up to.

If you are a BW member, you've already got a decent webmail service.

Has to not be tied down with signing up to an ISP. My work provide all my internet access.

To be honest I find hotmail is fine these days. I get maybe 1 or 2 spams per day on my hotmail account and I routinely set it to block the entire domain from which any spam originates.

My university pop3 account on the other hand gets 20-30 spams per day and the only way I can actually still use it is by using mailwasher.

Barrysworld webmail is very good.

Apart from the sudden change to GAME.NET (ok, I can handle that..) but with it comes a logo that says "Barryworld" - where's the S? I am confused?!

D'oh, where's that? Methinks someone has either been designing drunk (which wouldn't be the first time, now for instance) or there's a new themepark opening to rival Disney Land.
