Web based php/mysql mailing list

I've been asked to setup a mailing list for a band that I know, they ideally want a form on their ebsite that visitors can fill out and have themselves added to a mailing list. Some kind of online admin control and an easy way to send list messages would be nice as well. Has anyone had any experience with something like this, or have any suggestions for solutions?

I spotted this on Sourceforge. It is rated 5 (Production/Stable), so should be worth checking out. If you need a host for it, you know how to get hold of me.

HotScripts.com have 102 scripts which may or may not be of use. Try and stick to ones with high user and member ratings. Sadly (so I belive) you can't order the results, but the first three or so pages contain the best scripts.
