Wearing odd coloured socks

I have a lot of brightly coloured socks, and recently, I've got into the habit of just pulling any 2 out of the drawer, whether they match or not. Anyone else do this? Or are you one of the "I must NEVER wear odd coloured socks" people?

tbh all my socks are pretty much the same and those of different colours are really long so I'd probably not be comfortable wearing one running sock and one knee high lol but if they were mostly similar I wouldn't have a problem (back in the 90s I used to have bright green converse sneakers and bright orange ones, with one green sneaker I'd wear a bright orange sock and on the other foot the orange sneaker with a bright green sock...oh yeah, that's how I roll babies!)

like when u buy socks in 3's and their all black but one has purple heel and toes one red one blue ect ill mix and matxh those 3, but i wouldnt mismatch styles so hoops with hoops stripes with stripes ect

Trying to wear odd socks by buying them odd strikes me as twattish.

Also, if you're going to 'go against the norm' I'd sell them as 13 socks, not 12.

my socks appear to be breeding, i am now on the 3rd or 4th generation and thus have no matching socks left (i kid you not)

I remember buying a pack of socks, with 3 pairs, they all had two stripes at top of different colours, but now none of them match! infuriatingly the ones that are the same colour with the same colour stripes have the stripes in the opposite order!

I have one of those toe thingy socks, which i've not bought, no one i know has bought and i doubt any female unit has left as "no sock" wiould be a thing you'd notice

It was just laying there, with my laundry as i folded it away.

I'm thinking that 'cause all washing machines eat socks, they must appear somewhere and that machine is the somewhere.

yeah I have some tech socks for hill walking. they make my feet sweat something fearsome, and I try to avoid wearing them in normal shoes.
