I shouldn't think so, for instance - FG running with skald speed & shammy end, you all usually go ooe at the same time but this isnt 100% sure, try it somtime
The weapon speeds a factor of how much end is used per hit, as well as the style used.
For example, if you was swinging a faster weapon, you'd use less end for that swing because you'll be swinging quicker on the next hit. With a larger weapon you'll use more for each hit in general.
Weapon weight doesn't have anything to do with it afaik.
Ofc faster weapons require less end, but the end usage is equal to that of a slower weapon over a period of time (since you swing more). Weapon weight has no influence at all.
I have heard that is is inface the weight of the weapon that determines the end usage,
ofcoure *usaly* you wont notice this as the weapons weigh usaly scales acording to the weight
basicly, having a full end bar, slower weapon does more dmg, but less styles.. and faster weap lesser dmg, but more styles.. So around same dmg dealt when bar is depleted. (ofc, style depending aswell).
weight have nothing at all to do with end usage, if you get two weapons with same speed but different weights they will use the same end. Whether a weapon is 1h or 2h affects this I don't know, but the weight doesn't
And shields are actually a type of weapon, they have DPS and SPD aswell, it just doesn't show when you right click them. But generally the bigger the shield, the slower it is, there is a few exceptions with some of the epic dungeon shield being faster than usual for their size
