Ran up Q3 last night for a quick kickabout with some bots, when I noticed something very weird happening ... it was one of the maps with the BFG on, and after a while, they _all_ had BFGs ..
wtf! I think. .. then, near the end, I spot a whole heap of BFGs spawning in the middle of nowhere, and the bots all hanging around picking 'em up (at which point they respawn).
Weird stuff. I restart the map to see what gives ..
Sure enough, same again .. turns out that when someone does and a weapon is dropped, it keeps respawning there with full ammo!
e.g. .. watch bot pick up weapon, kill bot, pickup weapon and have full ammo .. weapon instantly respawns in the same place ..
Tried it in FFA and Tourney modes .. same in both.
The only thing that changed last night is that I joined a BW FFA server which has OSP running, so I had to download the OSP pk3s.
I'm using 1.17 still, and I reinstalled the patch after noticing the effect, just to make sure (no change).
Anyone else seen this, of have any idea about it?
