The answer to the second question is incorrect. If you overtake the last person, you could in theory be first. As in motor racing when you lap the last driver

First question's wrong. Your position depends on where you started and how many people there are in the race. If you overtake the second-*placed* person however, you'd be second.

What's the point in clever/pedantic "logic" questions if they're not written properly.
