we are not getting DF enough any more imo

tried a few raids in the last month or 2. most go well we get DF for a short period but mids usually zerg it back, and the time that is spent organising numbers to take a keep is getting silly, im willing to try organise keep retakes here and there but wouldnt mind a little more support. if you cant make it thats np. but if we do get it i dont expect to get in and find all the best spots are camped by people who were not on the retake (dont care so much if its camped by people who could be bothered to come). just plain rude imho.
this isnt a flame at hibs, just a plea for a little more support. most of us have a reason to farm with the housing patch incomming etc aswell as items, plats for SC so if i do organise much more it would be nice to see a few more faces. o and ofc keep defence to keep DF. many thanks

nuked m8 VF said same thing but u open DF for everyone.. and peeps sit and wait for DF to open so they can farm cash... so tbh u dont have a choice u open DF well dont expect to be the first peeps in there and they dont care about what u want.. i think thats why we havent had DF so much cos the last organisers got annoyed with the "me" attitude

reason we dont have DF more is because Emain is the primary RVR zone. As a consequence of this Crauch switch hands constantly.

Secret to opening DF is to not bother with middy keeps. Just take Boldium albs hate going to that keep.

ofc your right but tbh getting the spot i desire isnt what i want so much can allways wait for that, getting back on track so that we hold DF for over 24 hours would be a nice start, its as if people dont realise that if the enemy realm gets DF they will get steam rolled 20mins later. keep defence and keeping DF open is in everyones best intrests, when the next patch comes everyone will want DF open to get the money they need for guild housing, it would be better to get it now imo if people still dont want to help then thats fine, atleast its clear. and we can leave df shut for good. i know VF said it b 4 im bringing it up now though because many people may have a change of heart now they need the cash for the upcomming patch.

Hurbury, Berkstead, Boldiam, Sursbrooke... so many options, really.

I'm amazed at the fact that hibs seem to have quite a large population of lvl 50s, yet DF is almost always in our hands.

Secret is not to stop after you have a keep in your advantage, but 2 or more. That way, you can be sure you'll have DF for some time.

Seems like a lot of people aren't bothered and would rather run around emain in to the realm point machines that are NP guild and usual pack of alb dogs that is 4fg+. Do something useful and take a couple of keeps to help the realm as a whole.

aye some good points, and keeps to take are noted .. but tbh i dont allways want to go for the keep far far away with only 1fg .. i would rather go for beno or eras or something but with the number of people needed (not that i wont go for those far off keeps ).

1 fg hibs (high rr though) almost took hurbury (which was lvl10) on prydwen

so i guess hibs can make very powerful keeptake forces with small numbers just don't forget to bring at least 2 rams

df aint a good place for 50 tanks to go to, hence the lack of peeps willing to get it i guess. soon as we get it, peeps sod off from rvr, log on alts and cash farm.. then the keeps go down again since emain is soooo busy. simple equation. u want df more? u better defend it better. same in all realm i guess... but even more so in hib...

In my opinion there should be more of a incentive for taking/keeping keeps this way the RP demons would want to take and defend keeps - while giving the rest of the realm the advantage of DF.
