Hey folks, don't wanna make this long...

I will quit the game. After this post I will delete daoc, log out this forum account and not come back too soon.

Reason is simple. Currently it looks like this: I got a test today, 5pm, which I've known about for 1 month and I haven't done anything at all for it. Mostly due to daoc.

Sad fact is that I've turned into the kind of geek I used to laugh about. When I log in to play daoc for an hour to relax, I end up playing it for 7h, and its always like that. Of the 6 tests I had since October I failed 3, and this next one today will be a disaster again. I can't go on like this, woke up with open eyes today, and I have to do it now before my view is clouded again.

I have had a great time nevertheless, met cool ppl and I want to thank you all for it! Too many names to put them here, instead I will thank my guilds:

<Brotherhood of Hibernia>, where it all began (in beta and first weeks of release)
<Tuatha de Dannan>, the guild we founded after a few weeks, was the best time of the whole game (good luck with the new start folks!!)
<Armiger et Dementis>, you guys were really insane and I wub ya all! Too bad this great guild split
<Llaw Arian>, you guys are class! Keep up the good work, you roxx


Will I be back? Maybe. When I can say no to DAoC when I have to, I will surely check back. But I dunno when that will be...

But now I've finished my education, and don't have an urge to come back so soon.
This game really can mess up your life if you let it, and you cant stop playing unless u take a step back and realise what a nerd your turning into.

Gil - do u remember those old times when we discovered Cliff Dwellers and Hing was like 35, a few levels above? it was the most uber xp ever all the old TDDs were there. i didn't even know where Tir Uphost was =P
