Karate mum saves son from bullies

A middle-aged Russian mum has become a black belt in karate to protect her 22-year-old son from bullies.

Valentina Ivanova, 50, felt forced into action after years of watching shy Danila getting bullied by local gangs in Moscow.

She told local newspaper Zhizn: "I'd had enough of Danila coming home all battered and bruised.

"One time I even found him being beaten by a big guy with huge muscles and there were these other boys and girls standing around and laughing. He's too shy to do anything about it himself so I started a karate course to protect him.

"I soon put what I had learnt into practice on one of the bullies and since then my son has had no trouble at all. I gave the bully a dose of his own medicine.

"Now not only does he not go near my son anymore he even offers to carry my shopping bags for me when I come home."

He might be disabled. Or have an undisclosed medical condition. Or he could just not know how to deal with bullies. Not everyone can, you know. Its not a crime to be the victim of bullying. Your age is irrelevant. Would you poke fun at someone aged 82 being bullied ? or a child abuser picking on a 2 year old ? Age means fuck all. Bullying is bullying and I fucking hate it more than anything else.

Well as Lamp said he could be confined to a wheel chair or so, which would make karate some what of a problem.

I was bullied once when I was 4 and once age 11. I told a teacher in the first case, and in the second case I punched the dude on the nose and he ran off ! Have never been bullied since. Probably never will (I'll be going for my 3rd and final Dan in Jui Jitsu this June )

Saying that just because he is being bullied he can do something about it is also bollocks, he becomes a recluse get so pissed of he goes and kills some people then you all rat on him for being a freak anyway. The victims rarely ever win.
