I don't like storms... I like night time air though. Last year, i used to go for lots of walks at ~1am... Just walk a few miles and do thinking... Perhaps i shall start again when autumn comes.

Went down on the Hoe (Plymouth joke) and walked around the cliffs a bit. T'was nice to get some peace and quiet to do some thinking.

Storms here yesterday too - from about 16:00 through to about 20:00, but the rain carried on until the early hours of this morning.

Sheet and fork lightning, thunder, and heavy heavy rain for hours. So bad in fact all the roads had huge puddles all over them. My car kept aquaplaning everywhere :D

I remember about 2/3 weeks ago, goin thru a road (About half a mile long) and it was totally flooded (as in, about 6inches) anyway, we're all driving along at about 10/15mph, i had my window open (It was breezy again) and some twat on the other side of the road was doin like 25mph, and i didnt relize my window was open... until it was too late i got absolute drenched..

Also, it did some damage to the car i think, the engine would always chudder and feel slow (Spark Plugs?) for a few days..

And its pissin down again now :/

I went to Italy to visit my gf a fortnight ago. Spoke to her on the phone before I went and she said "it's 42 degrees here!", thought she must've meant 32 since isn't 42 a bit ridiculous?

Needless to say, I couldn't move until 10pm at night for the time I was there.

When I went to tenerife (sp?) in April it was 34 this was the point I discovered were my body just goes into hybernation and waits til it cools down as I slept for about 16hours. Then when it cooled down I was ok again

Fortunately for the next 6days it was raining or cool and windy, I loved it :D

I always like a good Thunderstorm even better at night during a power cut :)

Thunderstorms are the tops, I just love the daily 4pm thunderstorm / monsoon that lasts for about 15 mins. The best bit is when all the scooter riders dive for cover and put on their poncho's, at least the roads are clear :D .

Yeah, walking round in the middle of the night makes it seem like a whole new country, and the air tastes clean :D

50 degree temps arent uncommon out here

back in britain, living out in farndon, as you do, meant that i had to travel to chester to go to school. cept when it rained. water was virtually lapping at the edge of the bridge (low water level is at the base of the bridge) travel throguh there. down to the farm along hte road where theres a dip. which was filled with water. try to go through it but see some car with water above the tires. so go over way and try rossett....get to some bend and its also flooded.

used to miss about a week of school coz of it. bloody great. when we could get in there were about 8 people present :p
