What do ppl reckon on this ?

I wouldn't be at all surprised if there was deliberate food poisoning.

Its a bit fishy isn't it ?

There was a LOT riding on this game. West Ham needed the win to go finish above Bolton and give the squad a boost before the FA Cup Final. Tottenham and Arsenal both needed to win to decide on 4th place and a Champions spot.

Most of the Spurs team then go down with food poisoning. On the last day of the season on massively important day for all 3 teams.

I don't remember stories about other teams on any other occasion going down with mass poisoning.

I reckon someone got paid a shit load of cash to do it.

Someone has made a load of cash at the bookies.

If the dude gets time, what does he care if his money's stashed away offshore ?

Its too suspect in my opinion for it just to be "one of those things".

They were staying in a hotel and ate buffet food.

But the food didn't poison itself. It didn't go into n00b infil mode and stab itself with a level 30 football team poison :p :)

Will be better for English football imho. Arsenal will do better in the Champions League than Tottenham would.

who cares Arsenal came 4th tht's all that matters to me xD

They only got 4th cos they gave the hotel chef £100,000 to poison the Spurs team so they'd lose v's West Ham

Conspiracy !

if they get to replay the game maybe arsenal could replay their games where half the squad were injured, a winning team isnt always about the team on the pitch but the full squad.

True also they were only half hour away from WHL so they could call in replacements it was spurs choice not to delay kickoff and get replacements wasn't it?

nah was the police/ organisers, said the crowd would go mental/ riot if they had to wait xD. Imo spurs didnt use this food posioning to their advantage, shoulda shat or puked on west ham players and win the game by default.

I'm a Spurs supporter and I do NOT think they should be allowed to replay the game.

Its very much a case of closing the door after the horse has bolted.

The season's over now.

Let the police get on with their investigation and what happens, happens.

And to the ICF who say Spurs will be playing in brown shorts next season, we all know why pigeon's fly upside down over Upton Park? There's nothing worth shitting on below.

it reminds me something that happened in my country...

Atletico de Madrid was about to play against Zaragoza when Atleti players were ill suddenly. Solution: They played on another date.

I dont know what happened in England but reading you it seems to me that the match was played... Too sad, just select another date and play it.

Does it matter? Spurs are, and always will be a nobody club who always finish mid table never achieving anything.

Nah on a serious note i doubt anyone did it, but saying that in a world cup qualifier (iirc) a team put some sleep inducing liquid in the opponents drinks, after half time the team all fell asleep!

game wont be replayed coz of 2 reasons:

middlesborough will sue FA coz they had to call off their game against blackburn a few years ago, and were docked points.. ultimately relegated. they were'nt able to play at all.

it also sets a precident that would mean a season would take forever to finish.. my striker was ill replay! i had a fight with my wife last night and she didnt give me a blow job.. replay! etc..

We finished 5th.

Correct me if I am wrong, but unless the league has suddently shrank to 9 teams, it makes us near the top.
