But by the look of it a lvl 50 enchanter have no place in rvr grps on this server or it might just be that only guild grps go out and rvr. Or I simply have had bad luck.

Could be that some ppl just dont wanna give new hibs a chanse to prove themself in rvr.

Xaoel 50 chanter

Zalaz 50 sb mid/exal
Kireon 50 warrior mid/exal
Fauldur 50 zerk mid/exal
Nari 50 skald mid/exal
and more alts.

chanters are one of the most usefull chars in rvr, so you shouldnt have any probs getting rvr groups.

Well it's Dark Age of Tankalot. Ironically though the strongest Hib group is still a mage group, sadly it's also the hardest group to play well and untill people work well together in that group (and get a few realm ranks) you'll die fast and frequent.

Savage and high realm rank Alb groups own Emain and can slaughter an inexperienced group with one hand tied behind their backs.

Best advice - if you wanna play a chanter try and build a mage group and avoid Savage / high RR Albs if you want to enjoy yourself.

Either join an RvR minded Guild cause yeah it's hard to find spots in RvR group if u don't have a solid Friends base m8

Cheers

Well guess i could join a guild but then again why should i have to join a guild to get a rvr grp?

Aint we all supposed to help out fellow hibs?
Or is it same shit as on mid/exal only uber grps elite and crap like that. :(

I left mid/exal cuz my warrior and zerk could not get grp cuz all they want is a stupid savage.. AND NERF SAVAGE TO HELL!

It's sad and very very stupid on hib prydwen imo.

You can hardly ever find a grp with a mage char i noticed on many occasions when about 3 ppl port into odins or HW and i pm ask if i can join they prefer to not let me for no good reason and we all get owned by the FG of mids running around...

Tanks is all the rage now but i am sorry hib tank grp cant stand upto mid or alb tank grp... not sure if i ever met a bard who remember to play end song either.

Oh and when u do get to do nice grp rvr and you are in 2 FG of vs 1 FG mids with 6 tanks in each grp and NO ONE not 1 persona attack the RM or SM you wont want to play rvr in prydwen anymore.. at least i didnt.

Chanters are a pretty solid class for a mage group (till 1.65 bat swing that is ;)), a well drilled mage group of mana chanters & mana / void elds is still probably the most potent force Hib can put together.

The downside....... takes a lot of teamwork for it to work, a few realm levels for RA's and some stamina - cause when you get caught with your pants down you get spanked back to the bind stone hard.

Well welcome to the other side of the fence, the land of Hiberian (on Prydwen) where unfortunatly the grass isn't so green.

To be fair Pryd / Hib isn't elitism, the main problem is that you're always outnumbered so you're very likely to get added against in the popular RvR Zones (wether it be intentional or not doesn't matter tbh when you're the group added against on a regular basis). On top of that Midgard and Albion can field much stronger FG setups on a melee side which are a lot more forgiving to play (as long as you have a decent CC'er, MA and semi-compitent healers).

What it boils down to his Pryd / Hib is tired of having it's arse handed to it on a plate - so most people have given up on regular RvR. The die hards still continue, but given the challenges they face they tend to build they strongest group they can from people they've come to know and trust. Even though tank groups are inferior they'll build them as you at least get a perception of a half decent fight even if you lose.

If you join a RvR guild it may provide more oportunity to RvR on a regular basis - as the guilds orientation is that way and they tend to build groups from guild first filling slots externally. The other route is to persist as an inderpendant and make a name for yourself - won't take long if you can play your class half decent and you build a few contacts.

Just the way it is at the moment, partially due to the population level on Hib / Pryd, partially due to the strength of Midgard / Albion in classes / abilitys and skill level of some of the Midgard / Albion players.

Either way no point in whining about it (not saying you are) - either just get on and try and do something about it if you're that interested or do something else.

Before my break, I got the chance to do lots of runs with Eclipse. They had teamwork, they were drilled, they had RAs and they had stamina. And still we didn´t win that often.

Did that have anything to do with eclipse? ;)

And a good hib group can still win alot. It is just those damn fotm savage groups that ruin the fun.

Well both on mid/exal and here I do what I can and get a few kill now and then. But on mid/exal you could be rr8 or even 10 they still dont want you unless you are a savage.

I was hoping that things would be diffrent here on Hib/prydw.
But I guess I have to work twice as hard as a chanter.
To bad that ppl just dont give others a fair chanse to prove themselfs before turning em down.
