lo was just wandering how every1 would sumerise the other two realms (or their own as well if they can) and what there views are of em cos ive been wandering how ppl view hib is it 'oh no lets run from evul hibs' or 'weeeeeeeee lets zerg the walking rps' for me itd have to be:
Albion: fear the zergs... hate smite clerics ... and infiltrators,
Midgard: undecided currently lol not enuff rezers .. what type of tank is that
Hibernia: weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! great fun not enough ppl tho

Well.. in 1.53 they fixed tanks. According to Mythic’s current policy, tanks are two classes per realm, the primary and the secondary tank. warriors and zerks in Midgard, heroes and blades in Hibernia, armsmen and mercs in Albion. These classes get shiny new stuff. Then, they said they fixed defensive skills like block and parry. Again, a fix to primary and secondary tanks and those hybrids that can spec reasonably high in either of them.

That leaves hybrids who can’t spec or can’t spec high in neither block and parry. These hybrid non-tanks, such as skalds and wardens gain very little from defence fix. They lose out to opposing tanks getting stronger and with cheaper realm abilities.

Problem I see for Midgard is that very few people play the ”proper” tanks anymore. Our de facto main tank is not warrior but thane. Our light tank is not berzerker but skald. Only thing Midgard gets in 1.53 is better blocking for thanes.

This may even out eventually, if more people start levelling ”proper” tanks. This however does not happen overnight. When 1.53 hits, Midgard will be at additional disadvantage for a at least a couple of months until shelved warriors and zerks start dinging 50 and participate in RvR.

How big that temporary disadvantage will be or if there really is any, is too early to tell. 1.53 aint been out that long.. must keep an eye on american forums. Alot depends on what exactly did they do to block and parry and how did they change the group combat affecting both of them. Might be it’s not that bad.

You forgot End regen buff Thanes Thor's Lightning line also got a nice boost, but still needs more to it, like a self AF or con buff.

Aye, so I did. However, that too depends on population. The single target buff is on timer and unusable from a buffbot. Group target buff, I actually don’t know if there is a range involved. If there is, one could gain those buffs only from shamen actively playing their chars. We do’nt have that many. Same problem as with tanks.

It is so now. It may be that after tank fixes in 1.53 one needs to have specced in something defensive as well.
