Warrior axe/shield spec ?

Hi, I was just wondering how I should spec my Troll Warrior. I am going to use axe and shield and would like to get your oppinion on how I should spend my points. Should I set:

50 Axe
50 Shield
28 parry

or:

50 Axe
42 Shield
39 parry

Do you guys think the lvl 50 shield style Brutalize is worth it? I also realize that in next patched the parry/shield in RvR will be fixed so high shield would be very good. What do you think?

I would chose the last spec you suggested, that way you get a higher parry rate then you would get block rate for the same amount of points.

I use

50 axe
42 shield
39 parry

and it works nicely for me. But I think both specs are fine, I block and parry a lot with that one. Sure you will probably block more with 50 shield but it doesnt really matter when you have 8 albs hitting you at the same time, if you know what i mean.

Anyways, dont listen to me, im just a stupid troll.

If you took the 50,50,28 route you gain an extra style over the other option, and the shield style Brutilize looks quite nice.
You can then top up your parry skills by getting the Mastery of Parrying Realm Ability.

If I ever get to 50, I will do 46 Sword, 50 Shield rest parry.

But remember this....

Against a DW/CD/LA character your block rate gets a 50% penalty

Against a 2H(includes Pole/Spear/LW) your parry will be at 50% penalty.

These changes arent included until 1.53 (i think), personally im going 50axe/42shield/39parry for a more wellrounded toon, tho brutalize does look good
