Dell are the bollocks.

I'm sure all this stuff is lies.

How DARE you put Dell and Tiny in the same sentence!

We have literally thousands of Dell OptiPlex systems and work, and we use Dell PowerEdge servers. The percentage of these machines that develop hardware problems is incredibly low. Even if something goes wrong it's replaced the next day. Can't fault the company for their stuff at all.

Dell stick suck.

My mate has a dell and he tried to put a network card in, seems dell PC's dont like upgrades, took ages to get it running resonable again.

Upgraders nightmare

I like dell in the same way I like ntl...

What they offer is great but if you need to talk to a human being don't bother.

Took me 2weeks to order my Dell Inspiron 8100 all cos the sales person ran away from home halfway through the build process, there was a problem with a non-XP compatible DVD drive so the order was put on hold.

Still like my lappy, even if their Inspiron 3800 Cele's running Win98 are the most unreliable putrid crap a human will ever encounter

I said EXACTLY the same thing about Time here.

Dell are the mutts nuts. My Precision 330 (P4 1.5Ghz, 768Mb, 120Gb) running Win2k, is the most stable windows based platform I have ever seen

I've got one of the Dimensions, top of the range things, and it's sweet, especially when unplugging stuff, altho the case did as mentioned already confuse me until I found the tab on the bottom.

The case design rocks - easily padlocked as well. The HD bay pulls right out with the Precisions - dead easy to get to everything

On this Refinery alone we have over 700 optiplex GX150s plus about 200 Latitude notebooks (of which I happen to have 1). We have 5 Refineries in the states, all using Dell stuff.

Dell certainly seems to work ok for us.

I hate Dell servers. Nothing is where it should be. And the clients are seriously un-upgradable.

Mind u, round my work it's either Dell or Compaq. Ugh ! :(

The point isn't that they're stable (they are) but the fact that they're fucking you over in the upgrades because they're forcing you to buy their overpriced sh1t.
